Yu DahuaCentennial CelebrationTime-Honored Brand In Wuhan

In the general impression, Wuhan's textile mills have long been fading away. However, in September 18th, a local textile enterprise ushered in its centenary birthday and was also stamped with the official certification of Wuhan's "time-honored brand". In the past 100 years, it has not only stood tall but also lives well: this enterprise is Yu Dahua.

Yu Dahua's predecessor was founded in 1919 in Wuchang Yuhua cotton mill. It is the oldest textile mill in Wuhan and the only state-owned textile enterprise. In the past 100 years, it has witnessed the birth and growth of the national textile industry, and is a "living specimen" of China's modern textile industry.

The most familiar with Wuhan people was the "national cotton Department" which was once lined up along the Yangtze River in Wuchang inner ring, which was once the glory of China's textile industry. Among them, the four national cotton mill was renamed by the Yuhua cotton mill, which was later Yu Da Hua group. With the restructuring of state-owned enterprises, the two national cotton plants were merged into Jiangnan group, and three factories and six factories were purchased by one cotton and moved to the outer city area. In 2015, Jiangnan group, cotton and glacier were integrated into Yu Dahua. During the 100 years, Yu Dahua experienced countless disasters, but he had been strong and independent. In the last century, he also had the reputation of "king of human cotton cloth".

Yesterday, at the time of Yu Da Hua's centennial celebration, reporters walked into the factory. The huge workshop is empty, tens of thousands of spindles are spinning happily, conveying, changing volumes, connecting and testing. All processes are carried out in an orderly manner. Such a scenario will be staged every night at Yu Dahua's unattended intelligent demonstration line. Today, Yu Dahua has not only changed from a textile mill to a whole industry chain textile and Garment Group, but also appeared in the international fashion week, and pioneered the 100 thousand spindles intelligent spinning production line in the whole country, becoming the benchmark of Intelligent Manufacturing in textile industry.

The reporter learned from the municipal commercial bureau that Yu Dahua is the only textile and garment enterprise recognized by the government as "old brand" in Wuhan, while other old brands are mostly catering, food and business, such as old Tongcheng, Cao Xiangtai, Yangzi River, Zhong Bai and so on.

According to the Wuhan old name recognition method, over 50 years old shops and old factories have qualification. According to this standard, in the industrial city of Wuhan, a large number of surviving "Wu prefix" enterprises are also worthy of the name of "time-honored brand", but most of them belong to the central enterprises. Even so, these enterprises do not have Yu Da Hua "senior citizens". "Old enterprises need to be identified voluntarily. These" Buzi "enterprises do not take part in the recognition of old businesses in the business sector. At present, Wuhan certified enterprises are mainly people's livelihood, including Yu Dahua, equipment manufacturing and heavy industry enterprises are basically not. Business Bureau official said.
