Pakistan's "dawn" 16 reported that the traditional footwear industry in Pakistan's northwest border province is hard and difficult under the impact of cheap Chinese shoes.

In the past one or two years, Chinese made shoes have gradually occupied the Baba market due to their low price and wide variety, and the local footwear industry is losing competitiveness gradually.

Although local consumers complain that Chinese shoes are not durable, consumers still choose to buy Chinese shoes because of their low price.

Especially in the case of rising cost of living, low-income blue collar workers can only buy Chinese shoes.

The strong demand for cheap shoes in China has caused an impact on the local footwear industry.

Many local shoemaking owners say they have never been in such a difficult position due to the decline in demand for local traditional shoes.

A shoemaker said that the price of a good Chinese shoe market was 300 rupees (less than 30 yuan), which did not even produce enough local traditional shoes.

The influx of Chinese shoes has caused an impact on Pakistan's national brands and international brand shoes, forcing them to adjust prices to attract consumers.
