In October, CPI Rose By 5.5%&Nbsp Compared With The Previous Year; Clothing Prices Rose 4%.

According to the National Bureau of statistics, residents in the country in October 2011

The price level rose 5.5% year-on-year.

Among them, cities rose 5.4%, rural areas rose 5.9%, food prices rose 11.9%, non food prices rose 2.7%, consumer goods prices rose 6.6%, and services prices rose 2.8%.

The national consumer price level rose 0.1%.

Among them, the city rose 0.1%, the rural level was flat last month, food prices fell 0.2%, non food prices rose 0.2%, consumer goods prices rose 0.1%, and service items prices rose 0.2%.


Among them, food prices rose 11.9% over the same period, affecting the overall price level rose by about 3.62 percentage points.

Clothing prices rose by 3.7% over the same period last year.

Among them, clothing prices rose 4%, shoes prices rose 2.5%.

The prices of household appliances and maintenance services increased by 3.1% over the same period last year.

Among them, the price of durable consumer goods rose by 1%, and the price of family services and processing and maintenance services increased by 11.9%.


Health care and personal goods prices rose by 3.5% over the same period last year.

Among them, the price of Western medicine dropped by 0.6%, the prices of Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines increased by 13%, and the prices of medical and health services increased by 0.5%.


Traffic and communications prices rose 0.8% compared to the same period last year.

Among them, the price of pportation was down 0.3%, the price of vehicle fuel and spare parts rose by 12.2%, the price of vehicle use and maintenance was up 4.6%, the price of urban pportation cost increased by 2.9%, the price of urban public pportation rose by 1.9%, and the price of communication tool dropped by 13.7%.


The prices of entertainment, education, stationery and services remained unchanged.

Among them, education prices rose by 0.9%, entertainment and entertainment prices increased by 1.5%, tourism prices rose by 2.3%, and prices of recreational and consumer goods and services declined by 6.6%.


Residential prices rose 4.4% over the same period.

Among them, water, electricity, fuel prices rose 3.5%, building and decoration materials prices rose 4.5%, housing rental prices rose 3.6%.


It is estimated that in the 5.5% increase in October, the last year's price rise factor was nearly 1.5 percentage points, and this year's new price increase factor is about 4.04 percentage points.
