The Essence Of Chinese Clothing: Hanfu Culture

Clothing Hanfu Culture

Back in the late twentieth Century, Chinese university students first proposed that Hanfu is the Chinese national costume.

After entering the twenty-first Century, the college students not only paid attention to Chinese traditional costumes, such as Dragon Boat Festival, Mid Autumn Festival, etc., but also wore Hanfu clothes when they took the streets to advocate festivals or ceremonious ceremonies.

So students from all over the place come to me often, wearing what they call themselves.

Hanfu

To listen to my advice on Hanfu, this brings me to a question: what is Hanfu?

In the history of Chinese clothing, there are Han costumes relative to ethnic minorities, compared with other Han Dynasty costumes of other dynasties.

Confucian towel

It is obvious that some concepts are unclear.

I wrote an article in the "people's Daily Overseas Edition", entitled "Hanfu as a Chinese national costume".

For example, a few ancient books, such as Liao Shi Yi Wei Zhi two, wrote: "in the same period, after the Empress Dowager and the North Qian Heng, although the northern ritual of the three gifts was also used in Han Dynasty, after the Hei hee, the ceremony and Hanfu were carried out.

Constant clothing still obeys the same system. "

In the Qing Dynasty, it was written in the book "North travel record, notes and sniffing": "Liao history, Emperor Taizong's entry into the Jin Dynasty, the emperor and the South ban Han officials used Hanfu, the Empress Dowager and the North class Qidan officials used the national costume.

Its Hanfu is the five generation of Jin's legacy.

It is very clear here that in the early days of Liao Dynasty, the dress was divided into two styles, and the Han officials used the five generation of later Jin's system of service. They were called "Hanfu" or "South class system".

Yalu de Guang decided in the first year of the Liao Dynasty (938) that when the grand meeting was held, the emperor wore Han clothes with Han officials, mainly composed of traditional official clothes of the Han regime, such as the sky crown, the long distance crown and the Jinxian crown.

As the emperors often wear clothes, the crown of the long distance also comes from Chu, but is mostly worn by kings. Jinxian crown is used for the Han Dynasty, and it is a kind of crown for officials and scholars.

Similar to this, there is no such thing as the Hanfu, which is used as a system. In modern times, Xu Ke wrote in the "barnyard dresses", "Gao Zong is in the palace. He always wears clothes and clothes.

One day, the robe of the emperor's robe and the calling office said, "am I like Han?" an old minister said to himself, "the emperor is like Han Cheng, but he is full of it."

That's the end. "

The name "Hanfu" appeared in the above two ancient books, mainly refers to the Han people's clothes which are different from the minority nationalities.

Goodbye to Han Dynasty clothing, which is directly marked with the dynasty, such as Wen Zhenheng's "Changzhi Zhi clothing" in the Ming Dynasty, wrote: "as for cicada crown Zhu Yi, Fang Xin Qu collar, Yu Pei Zhu Lvzhi" Hanfu ", and the head gown is" Sui Fu ".

Now, what are our college students' favorite Chinese clothes? They read some reports, including newspaper pictures, including photographs, and also a reality show sitting across from each other.

The collar is probably the same. There are collar edges on the collar, that is, a dark coloured dress on the edge of the collar, from left to right, which is in line with the right Han of Chinese Han people. This is different from Zuo, who is a member of Khitan and nu Zhen.

The robes are also more consistent. Of course, there are female college students wearing half length, a bit like monk clothes. In short, they are large sleeves and do look like some ancient clothes.

Boys love a black cloth with a flat top of the Confucian towel, such as floating towel; girls have long hair tied slightly on the shoulders, wearing a high waist ancient skirt, holding a clean silk fan.

It looks a bit like the costume of the ancients, full of fun, and a bit like costumes, because Peking opera costumes were originally selected from the song and Ming Dynasties, while song and Ming costumes came from the Han and Tang Dynasties.

The Ming Dynasty was the last dynasty of Han nationality in feudal society of China. Before Ming Dynasty, it was in the Liao, Jin and Yuan Dynasties. After Ming Dynasty, it was also the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, in the early Ming Dynasty, it was necessary to abolish Hu clothing and unite it as a model of Chinese culture. Then, at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the Chinese Han people could be handed down in costumes because of the unwritten "ten from ten without".

It is no wonder why the Chinese clothes of college students are like the ancient costumes on the stage. Indeed, the essence of Chinese costumes is left in Peking opera costumes.
