In the first 8 months of this year, the total number of international tourist trips reached 642 million, an increase of 7% over the same period last year, an increase of 1 million times over the same period in 2008.

The number of international tourists is expected to increase by 5%-6% this year.

According to the latest world tourism prosperity report released by the world tourism organization, the number of tourist arrivals in all regions of the world increased from January to August this year.
