Recently, Zhejiang Wujiang Silk City Shengze E-commerce Information Co., Ltd. received the notice from the National Standardization Management Committee. The Chinese textile fabric coding (chemical fiber part), which was led by the company, has been officially approved and entered the national standardization project development process.

This code not only fills up the blank of China's chemical fiber textiles for a long time, but also provides a good precedent for the definition and specification of the world's chemical fiber textiles.

As we all know, textiles are the most rapidly changing, the most styles, the structural differences and the extremely complex process differences.

Since there has been no standard for a long time, the same textile product has different names, or the same name has different weaving methods, which brings inconvenience to the textile trade, and is a bottleneck for textile e-commerce.

As the world's largest producer of chemical fiber, this contradiction is particularly prominent in China's chemical fiber textile industry.

As one of the largest production bases of the global fiber weaving industry, Shengze has the strength and responsibility to participate in the standard setting as the first drafting unit.

It is reported that the whole coding research and framework compilation started in December 2005, and after nearly 3 years of research, analysis, discussion and discussion, the norms and adjustments are constantly being carried out to make it easier to draft.

The coding is made up of 15 digits. It is divided into three parts: classification code, identification code and attribute attribute code. Coding is based on the organization, raw material, yarn structure and characteristics of textile fabrics.

In the process of compilation, e-commerce information companies have consulted the opinions of relevant enterprises, followed the principles of simplicity, classification, expansibility, integrity, consistency and memorability, and tried to make coding feasible.

In 2007, China's textile coding (chemical fiber part) was established by the Jiangsu provincial development and Reform Commission and the quality and Technology Supervision Bureau as a provincial standard project.

This year, it has successfully entered the national standard project development process, and its coding is only one step away from the national standard. It will connect with the Chinese textile coding currently under preparation.
